March 23, the launching ceremony of 2021 ZHEJIANG TAIZHOU EXPORT ONLINE
FAIR (SERIES STATION) & RCEP（ASEAN-Mechatronic) is successfully
opened. The ceremony is hosted by Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province
and The People’s Government of Taizhou, co-hosted by Taizhou Bureau of Commerce
and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Taizhou Committee,
and undertaken by Zhejiang Broad International Convention & Exhibition Co.,
Ltd.
The
launching ceremony reviewed 70 online trade fairs held by Taizhou in 2020. In last
year, Taizhou actively explores the trade digitalization and “Internet+ Foreign
Trade” pattern, helping foreign trade enterprises to get more orders and
exploiting market. There are over 3852 exhibitors, 5701 overseas purchasers,
with online matching 19119 and the intended turnover 500 million US dollars.
In this year, we continue to launch a series of
exhibition plans to further open the market, of which Zhejiang(Taizhou) Export
Online Exhibition is the most important part of the plan. We will focus on the
distinctive industries like auto and auto parts, plastic mould, building
materials& sanitary, medicine & health, and aim to provide more precise
and professional online matching.
The first online trade fair launching ceremony
focuses on RCEP, position in ASEAN countries and mechanical and electrical
industries. ASEAN has always been the key trade partner to Taizhou, the two
sides enjoy close trade relations and business exchange. In 2020 Taizhou’s
export to ASEAN was 14.17 Billion CNY, up by 8.7%, the export of mechanical and
electrical products to ASEAN was 9.95 billion CNY, accounting to 70 percent of
the total amount. The online exhibition gathers over 50 high quality companies from
Taizhou and 50 foreign purchasing companies from ASEAN countries. We plan to
reach 150 precise business matching. We firmly believe that by the series of
online exhibitions Taizhou products will enjoy high reputation in the
international market. Taizhou companies will know new trade partners, reach
cooperation, gain friendship and achieve win-win results.
