On the morning of November 6, the 7th CIIE Zhejiang Province key import platform promotion meeting and Zhejiang Province trading group import procurement centralized signing ceremony was successfully held in Shanghai. Chen Zhicheng, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, Song Huiqin, Deputy special Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce in Hangzhou Special Office, attended the event and delivered a speech. Nearly 200 people in charge of state-owned enterprises in relevant provinces, leaders of various cities (sub-delegations) and heads of Chinese and foreign enterprises participated in the event.

As one of the important supporting activities for Zhejiang Province to participate in the CIIE, this event has been held for 7 consecutive sessions, a total of 120 provincial key import platforms were awarded licenses at the event, and a total of 170 import procurement projects were signed in the first 6 sessions, with a contract amount of 86.05 billion yuan. These specific actions and results are vivid manifestations of Zhejiang's participation in the CIIE.

Song Huiqin said that the event, Zhejiang actively play the role of the international procurement platform of the Expo, innovate import carriers, expand international procurement, has received wide attention from all walks of life, but also provides a useful reference for the expansion of imports in the country, and explores a practical path.

Provincial-level key import exhibition platform representatives on the sixth Zhejiang (Wenzhou) imported Consumer goods Expo and the sixth Overseas Chinese Import Commodities Expo and Qingtian Imported Wine Fair to display and promote. The Portuguese Food Association was invited as a representative of overseas suppliers to show and promote, and the international "circle of friends" in Zhejiang has been expanding.

At the signing ceremony of import procurement, 27 overseas suppliers from 16 countries and regions such as Germany, the United States, Switzerland and Singapore signed contracts with 23 well-known import enterprises in Zhejiang Province, totaling 29 projects, involving advanced equipment, energy resources, agricultural products, consumer goods, service trade and many other fields, with a contract value of 15.561 billion yuan. Leading import enterprises in the province, such as China International Trade Group, China Chemical Industry Co., LTD., Zhejiang Hailiang, Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., LTD., and Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., LTD., have cooperated with well-known international enterprises such as Allan Group, Shidong Rubber, Mercuria Energy, and Emerson to import bulk commodities, key equipment, and high-quality consumer goods, promoting industrial upgrading and consumer quality improvement in the province.
